The Events
Day #1: Friday
4 PM Hotel Check-In
We’ll be there to greet you at the Valet Stand, where you can tell us
how we “haven’t changed a bit” and other age-appropriate lies.
We’ll direct you to the Front Desk for check-in to the lovely & historic Hermosa Inn. Then settle into your room, put on something waterproof (this does NOT mean Depends), accessorize with the items in your “Dig It, Dude” Bag, and chill for a while (in Arizona in July that means get that air conditioning cranking).
When you’ve rested up, tip toe through the gardens to the pool area, where we created an Aqua Adventure for the Elderly based on one of the most popular movies of the ‘70s!

Welcome Drinks & Snacks 5-7 pm.
Meet your fellow Lounge Lizards, Hang Ten, and stretch out by or in the pool.
There’ll be a little entertainment and a lot of great, fun people.
Dinner is on your own tonight,
but we have lots of recommendations and we can coordinate transportation and groups.
Just give us as much notice as possible.
Day #2: Saturday
7 AM to 8 AM A Treat Will Be Delivered To Your Room (Put your pants on)
10AM to 4 PM Fun On Your Own
Play early on one of Arizona’s nearby golf courses.
Tour a local museum or special Arizona site.
Reverse your wrinkles at the Blue Door Spa? Or just Hang Loose.
Even Mick Jaggar could get satisfaction here!
The Hermosa Inn is located within minutes of prestigious shopping, sporting event facilities, golf, art, entertainment venues, and major business corridors of both Phoenix and Scottsdale.
We’re happy to coordinate your choice of:
Tee Times, Transportation, Tours, or Treatment Options.
We just need to know your plans ASAP.
5 PM – Follow The White Rabbit To The Garden Party
Here’s where you can really get in to the spirit of our times:
Think back to the past—to a time when you were young(er) and had so many dreams.
What or whom would you have been that you aren’t now?
Doctor? Lawyer? Politically Incorrect Indian Chief? JFK? LBJ? MLK? LBGTQ?
OR
What was the happiest time in your life? What were you wearing? Recreate that fab fashion style for tonight.
OR
You know what, just come as you are. We’ll still love you.
Get dressed and get into the groovy grove led by the White Rabbit himself.
And don’t be late…we start going back in time fast.
6 PM – Bunny’s Baaaaccckkk
to lead you to party central. The Hermosa Inn’s AAA 4-Diamond LON’s Restaurant is home to our main event—a 5-course feast (menu choices to come) interspersed with good old-fashioned silliness. (Yes, Mike wants Birthday Bingo again.)
8 PM – Sweet Retreat
Dessert will be served in the large patio garden where we will bring the party to a sweet close with soft guitar music and dancing under the stars.
Day #3: Sunday
8 AM to 10 AM – Bye Bye Breakfast Buffet
Sadly, it really is time to say “bye bye” so come on “by” the main part of the hotel before 11 AM check out.
Important Note
We really do need to get a firm headcount to lock in the rooms,
reserve the party venues and order the food.
So please RSVP as soon as you can, and no later than 6/5!
